Barn Accommodation

 

The Barn is Brimpt's main conference meeting venue and group accommodation.  The converted detached Barn offers family and friends the option of ten bedrooms; corporate guests can be accommodated on a single or multiple occupancy basis.  We have plenty of beds to manage extra numbers.

 

Seven of the bedrooms are on the lower level and three of them are on the upper level.  One bedroom (Combestone Tor) is suitable for a wheelchair user and has an en suite bathroom (including shower).  All the other bedrooms in the Barn have en suite shower rooms.

 

On the lower level, Yes Tor, Vixen Tor, Sheeps Tor and Hay Tor can only be reached from outside. On the upper level, Bowermans Tor and Sharp Tor can only be reached from the outside.  Tea and coffee making facilities are offered in all the bedrooms.

 

The elevated Haystore is an integral part of the Barn. Its solid granite walls, rough hewn timbers and an old fashioned country wood-burner create a warm, welcoming backdrop of rustic charm.  It is a versatile living space with breathtaking views over the Dart Valley.  This is used by our guests as a sitting room with an open dining facility to compliment a well appointed kitchen.  If you don’t fancy the hassle of fridge filling, juggling taste and diet preferences, cooking and cleaning up after everyone just speak to Gabrielle at the Farmhouse Kitchen.  We can offer you appetising, traditional meal options to preserve your peace of mind.

 

The Barn has a useful drying room in which to hide everything away before retiring to the bliss of the alfresco hot-tub.
